Part Time Personal Account Representative
Locations: Seattle

Position Overview: Due to continuous growth, we have an exciting part-time opportunity for a Personal Account Representative to join our team in our Seattle branch. As a Personal Account Representative you will assist clients in person or by telephone, determine their needs, and process their request.

If you have a professional demeanor, positive attitude and excellent customer service skills we would like to hear from you!

Essential Functions:

  1. Process monetary transactions and daily cashbox balancing.
  2. Receive and process name and address changes and other account information as needed.
  3. Provide routine information and cross-sell Bank products and services.
  4. Share responsibilities of all branch security procedures.
  5. Understand FDIC insurance and explain when necessary.
  6. Adhere to 1st Security Bank of Washington policies and support management decisions and goals.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent related experience.
  2. Excellent communication and sales skills.
  3. Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
  4. Previous experience within a financial institution or in a business office / sales experience preferred.
  5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  6. Must be bondable.

Locations: Redmond

Assistant Branch Manager
Locations: Downtown Puyallup

We have an exciting career opportunity available in our Downtown Puyallup branch for individuals interested in a full-time Assistant Branch Manager position. As an Assistant Branch Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality, efficient operations, sales, and services to bank clients. This includes the professional development of staff to include proper hiring, training, and coaching of all employees.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  1. Conduct monthly audits to ensure compliance with current 1st Security Bank policies and procedures.
  2. Supervise branch staff by holding weekly coaching and training meetings to ensure effective communication.
  3. Meet weekly with the Branch Manager and make decisions and recommendations for hire, termination, and/or other changes in status of employees.
  4. Provide clients and merchants with information regarding Bank loan policies, credit granting criteria, interest rates and the documentation required for each type of loan.
  5. Review deposit accounts and initiate immediate action if they are overdrawn
  6. Originate and monitor the completion of consumer loans in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Suggest resolution on account disputes and other account activity.
  8. Perform Personal Banker functions/duties.

Requirements:

  1. At least three (3) years of banking experience and/or experience within a financial institution, preferably including one (1) year of supervisory experience.
  2. High school diploma.
  3. Excellent communication and sales skills.
  4. Effective personal skills with the ability to lead and work with individuals and groups at all organization levels.
  5. Ability to train, manage and motivate others in positive and supportive manner.
  6. Professional and business like appearance and demeanor.
  7. Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and pay close attention to detail
  8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  9. Must be bondable.
